Jacqueline Durbin

Jacqueline is a passionate singer/songwriter from the Midwest with a desire to touch others through her music. She got her start in her hometown of Joplin, Missouri, often supported by husband/percussionist/vocalist, Mike Durbin. They have recently relocated to Tampa, Florida. Together they deliver a unique, addictive performance and have been known as The Durbins and Helicopter Heart. The duo also spent 8 years as members of a praise team, eventually being asked to lead Sunday evening services at their church in Joplin and continued until relocating. Currently, she is honing her skills as a solo artist/music producer. Her vision for the future is three pronged and very much in the works. This plan includes a new, fully self-produced solo album. As a separate project, she's back to collaborating/recording with her band, The Wirefliez. She's also building a catalog of instrumental music intended for use in film and media. At some point, she will emerge from her studio and start performing once again, starting in her local area of Tampa Bay.
As a solo artist she released her first self-produced CD in June 2008. Several songs from that album have been played on internet radio stations and have placed in various competitions.
In September 2009, she signed with Oklahoma based independent music label, Tate Music Group, where she produced her first full-length CD, Superhuman, released in 2010, which was also well received by peers. The Wirefliez came together in 2009 as an experimental online project and have grown into a tight group of dedicated, seasoned musicians. They released their first album in June 2014, which was remastered in 2018 by their guitarist/producer Neil Schmidt.
